Columbus Recreation and Parks has eight outdoor pools, an indoor aquatic center and six spraygrounds and fountains. Our trained and knowledgeable staff offers a variety of water fitness classes and lessons for all ages and skill levels. Join Our Lifeguard Team This Summer!
Looking for an exciting summer job? We’re currently hiring lifeguards for seasonal positions with a pay of $20 per hour. To qualify, you must successfully complete the Red Cross Lifeguard Training course, the course fee will be waived if hired by the City of Columbus. If you’re 15 or older and have the swimming skills needed, take the first step by submitting an interest form. Our aquatics team will be in touch to schedule your pre-course swimming skills test.
