Commission is an advisory body to Mayor Andrew J. Ginther working to advance
the economic well-being of women in our community. We bring together
policy experts, stakeholders, residents and neighbors, and business and
non-profit communities to analyze issues impacting women and make policy

Who is involved with the
Columbus Women’s Commission?
- The Commission was founded
by First Lady Shannon Ginther in 2016. It is comprised of 24 diverse members of the Columbus community and staffed by two full-time
employees in the Mayor’s Office, as well as two interns.
