Learn how the City is eliminating sanitary sewer overflows.

Clintonville Area

The City is under orders from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to eliminate sanitary sewer overflows. Blueprint Columbus is a new initiative to meet the requirements of those orders, which includes eliminating the overflow into Adena Brook in Whetstone Park. Homes in the Clintonville project area are connected to a city sanitary sewer that contributes to those overflows. For information about this overflow point and its exact location, please reference SSO discharge number 30 at   eapp.columbus.gov/ssocso

Parking Studies

For the safety of residents, the Department of Public Service has determined that there are two situations that require no parking signs near rain gardens:
      1. If a bump-out makes parking across the street too dangerous
      2. If the rain garden is too close to the road to allow safe exit from a car

We worked closely with staff in Public Service to conduct parking studies in the Clintonville project area. Please click on the map above to find a summary of the parking study and results for your neighborhood or click a link below (look for the PDF file in your browser window).
