2018 Connector Corps Program Overview
The greatest gift our community can give each baby is a healthy and safe first year of life—join us in working to ensure that all babies have the opportunity to celebrate their first birthdays!
The CelebrateOne Community Connector Corps program is a grassroots effort designed to ensure that residents of the Columbus neighborhoods most impacted by infant mortality receive the support they need and deserve before, during and after pregnancy—and we can only do this with YOUR help!
Below are some important program dates and information. Please review them before submitting your application. This program includes training through The Ohio State University College of Nursing Community Health Worker Training Program followed by nine months of part-time employment at a community agency. Applicants have the opportunity to apply to any Connector Corps community agency located within their neighborhood. It is suggested that you apply to more than one agency. For any questions, please contact Kiley Orchard at KAOrchard@columbus.gov or (614) 645-5002.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Due to the volume of the applications, we cannot respond to all applicants. Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by a partnering community organization.
