Hap Cremean Water Plant Signage

UV Disinfection Improvements for DRWP & HCWP This project will install ultraviolet (UV) disinfection at the DRWP and HCWP to provide additional treatment for Cryptosporidium and other potential microbial contaminants. Financing will be provided by below-market interest rate loans obtained through the Ohio EPA’s Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA) program. HCWP Standby Power and DRWP Standby Power Three diesel powered standby generators will be installed at the HCWP to power the plant during a utility power outage. Construction is to begin in the first quarter of 2017 and will be completed in 2018 with an estimated cost of $10.5 million. Two generators will be installed at the DRWP. Construction is anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2017 and completed in 2019 with an estimated cost of 9 million. - learn more

Hoover Boardwalk Improvements Improvements to the Hoover Nature Preserve Boardwalk begin in May 2015 to make better use of the space, eliminate rutting, improve handicapped parking and better protect water quality.
