  • Regular meetings are held as needed - generally on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm, in the Public Hearing room located at 111 North Front St, 43215.  Free parking is available in the city parking garage located at 141 North Front St, 43215. Go to the specific month’s agenda for instructions how to join the meeting.  This should be done at least one day before the actual meeting. Meetings are subject to cancellation or rescheduling. You are encouraged to contact our office for meeting confirmation. 

Provides reasonable interpretations of the Building Code and determines the suitability of alternate materials and types of construction. The Building Commission may, after a hearing, authorize the conduct of any such operation in such a manner as to relieve against such hardship or impracticability, provided, however, that any authorization so granted will not endanger the safety of the persons or property.

Applications:   Applications are due two (2) weeks prior to meetings.
