Safe Kids Central Ohio

The Safe Kids Central Ohio Coalition works to prevent unintentional injuries to children from birth through age 14.

The Safe Kids Central Ohio Coalition is a group of diverse individuals and organizations who have joined together to provide reduce childhood injury, encourage communities to take action, make practical safety improvements and raise overall community awareness of the issue and causes.

Ohio Buckles Buckeyes (OBB) Program

Ohio Buckles Buckeyes provides child safety seats and booster seats to eligible low income families in all Ohio counties. Its overall goal is to increase the availability of child safety seats for families who could not otherwise afford them and to help make sure they are being used correctly. In order to receive an OBB seat, income eligible families (such as a family enrolled in the WIC program) must attend a one hour car seat class at Columbus Public Health.

To find a location in your county please contact the Ohio Department of Health at https://www.odh.ohio.gov/health/vipp/cps/cps.aspx.

For more information or to sign up for a class call (614) 645-7748.
