Columbus City Council Holds Hearing on Proposed Licensing Code Changes

WHAT:
Councilmember
Mitchell J. Brown is hosting a hearing to discuss two proposed amendments
to the City’s licensing code. The first would streamline the process for alarm
system permitting. The second would remove redundancies in the licensing of
charitable solicitors and consider new technologies used to raise dollars for
charity.
All
interested citizens are invited to offer public testimony. Comments are limited
to three minutes. Individuals wishing to offer testimony must fill out a
speaker slip between 8am-5pm the day of the hearing at Columbus City
Hall.
The
meeting will broadcast live on CTV, Columbus' cable access channel 3.
