Advanced Metering
We are preparing to replace old analog meters with new advanced ones that can communicate wirelessly. Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) will allow us to respond to issues, like outages, more efficiently. In addition, it allows us to provide customers with information about their usage before the bill comes. Ultimately, AMI will help us all reduce consumption through our Enhanced Meter Project.
Enhanced Meter Project
This project will facilitate collection of electronic meter readings and provide expanded services for customers. It will be completed in phases, with initial small-scale testing to begin in 2023 and completion of all meter conversions by mid-2026. - learn more
