What:
President
Pro Tem Priscilla Tyson, chair of the Finance Committee, is hosting a
public hearing to discuss the second quarter financial review. A representative
from the Department of Finance will be present to answer questions.
Immediately
following, President Pro Tem Tyson is holding a public hearing at 5pm to review
legislation that will appear on future City Council agendas.
Legislation
will be reviewed for items scheduled to appear in the following committees:
Finance, Health and Human Services and Workforce Development. Representatives
from the departments will be available to present upcoming legislation.
All
interested citizens are invited to offer public testimony. Comments are limited
to three minutes. Anyone wishing to address City Council on this matter must
fill out a speaker slip between 8am-4:30pm for the Second Quarter
Financial Review Hearing and 8am-5pm for the Committee Hearing at Columbus City
Hall.
This
meeting will be broadcast on CTV, Columbus’ cable access channel 3.
