American Association of University Women
Advocacy organization on the issue of pay equity offering research, legal resources, salary negotiation, and toolkits, among other resources.

Women’s Fund of Central Ohio
On a mission to ignite social change for gender equality, this local organization provides research specific to our community, including a downloadable report on women’s economic security and a report on gender norms and their impact on women’s economic prosperity.

Gender By Us Toolkit – Provides a downloadable guide on having a conversation that challenges implicit biases and gender norms.

The Ohio State University Kirwan Institute
The Ohio State University Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race & Ethnicity’s fourth edition of its annual State of the Science: Implicit Bias Review deepens public awareness of implicit biases and the challenges they pose to a society that strives to treat all of its members equally. The research shows that hidden biases are distressingly pervasive, operate largely under the scope of human consciousness, and they influence the ways in which we see and treat others - even when we are determined to be fair and objective. 

Women in the Workplace
This is a comprehensive study of the state of women in corporate America. The research is part of a long-term partnership between LeanIn.org and McKinsey & Company to give organizations the information they need to promote women’s leadership and foster gender equality. The downloadable report was just released in the fall of 2017.

The Gender Equality Principles 
The Gender Equality Principles offer practical standards to which companies can aspire, and a measure against which they can assess their progress on fundamental issues of gender equality. 

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) 
Responsible for enforcing federal employment laws and preventing discrimination before it occurs, the EEOC provides information on the laws and facts relating to compensation discrimination.

EqualPayMA Employer Toolkit
Run by the state of Massachusetts, this website shares resources about the reasons for the pay gap and solutions to addressing it, including an Employer Tool Kit.

Denver Thrives When Women Thrive Employer Toolkit
An employer toolkit and guide assembled by the Denver Women’s Commission.

Harvard Implicit Bias Test
These free online tests are part of Project Implicit, a non-profit organization and international collaboration between researchers who are interested in implicit social cognition – thoughts and feelings outside of conscious awareness and control. Tests often reveal underlying preferences or associations related to gender, race, sexuality, age, ability and more.

Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD) 
Develops and advances women's leadership to strengthen the economic prosperity of the communities it serves. Provides women with specific tools to enhance their individual economic status, builds programs, events and a community to support female leadership development and business growth.  WELD is a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization. 

Women’s Small Business Accelerator
The Women’s Small Business Accelerator is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women microbusiness owners succeed and achieve their business goals and dreams. WSBA provides educational programming, goal-oriented mentorship, workshops and co-working space.

Women’s Business Center
The Women's Business Center is an initiative of the Economic & Community Development Institute. They provide resources, business coaching/mentoring, training and workshop programs, networking and access to small loans through ECDI.

National Association of Women Business Owners – Columbus
This local chapter of a national organization represents the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all fields. NAWBO works to develop and grow women-owned businesses, build alliances, coalitions and affiliations, inform public policy & influence opinion makers, and affect change in business culture.

Fairygodboss was created for women by women. Their mission is to improve the lives and workplace for women through transparency. Information is crowdsourced through job reviews for women, by women and helps you get the inside scoop on pay, corporate culture, benefits and work flexibility.  This article explains reasoning behind creation of FairyGodBoss and which companies tend to succeed – those making concentrated efforts to have policies friendly to women!

Women and Good Jobs
A project of the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, this report demonstrates how women working in different sectors and industries contribute to the wage gap. The aim is to improve women’s access to good middle-skill jobs in industries such as advanced manufacturing, information technology, transportation, distribution & logistics. It includes a target job search tool that includes on-ramp jobs with similar or shared characteristics.

New Directions Career Center
New Directions Career Center offers women-centered programs to help support, educate, and guide you through the next phase of your life. The programs range in focus from empowering women to change their lives with holistic support and expert career advice over two weeks to a more targeted, short-term program for all adults that improve self-marketing skills and increase confidence in the job search or for reaching the next level with your current employer. New Directions is a non-profit organization and will work with individuals regardless of their ability to pay. Transportation & child care assistance are available to eligible participants.
