Vinita Mehra
Vinita Mehra is an attorney and director with Kegler Brown
Hill + Ritter. She serves as Co-Leader of the firm’s Global Business practice,
leads its Global Education practice and Asia-Pacific team, and is licensed to
practice law in both Ohio and India.
Vinita has represented U.S. companies in international
transactions on a wide variety of legal issues and counseled non-U.S. companies
on issues pertaining to expanding business operations in the U.S. She has also led
dozens of education projects for institutions across the country, guiding
public universities through the complex processes involved in global expansion.
Along with business and international topics, Vinita
regularly presents to groups and at conferences on subjects such as women’s
leadership, diversity and authenticity.
Active in the community, Vinita serves as a national board
member of the Women for Economic and Leadership Development, and as a board
member of the Columbus Council on World Affairs. She was recognized by the Columbus
Business First 2017 Diversity in Business Awards as an Outstanding Diversity
Champion, and has been honored as the only “Expert” attorney in the Midwest for
Indian business matters by Chambers USA.
Vinita received her B.L.S. and L.L.B. from Government Law
College at Mumbai University.
