Emmanuel V. Remy Sworn In as Newest Councilmember
Emmanuel V. Remy was
sworn in Thursday, January 18, 2018, as a member of Columbus City Council.
Remy
was selected to fill the remaining two years of the unexpired term of Zach
Klein, former Council President, who was recently elected City Attorney of
Columbus.
“It
is an honor to serve Columbus residents as a member of City Council,” said
Remy. “I am grateful for the opportunity to engage with neighborhoods and
communities to continue moving this City forward.”
Remy served
as president of the Northland Community Council and Clinton Estates Civic
Association. As a Councilmember, he will chair the Public Service and
Transportation, Administration and Environment committees.
