President Pro Tem Michael Stinziano is hosting two public hearings to provide
an overview of proposed changes to the City Code as they relate to the
growing short term rental industry in Columbus.
The
goal of the legislation is to balance the well-being and interests of City
residents and visitors. This will allow short-term rentals to
operate, support economic growth and promote tourism in Columbus while
maintaining the neighborhood and community fabric.
All
interested citizens are invited to offer public testimony. Anyone wishing to
address City Council on this matter must fill out a speaker slip at the site on
the day of the hearing.
This
meeting will be broadcast on Columbus' cable access channel CTV.
