James Road at Livingston Ave Intersection Improvements
DESCRIPTION
AND BENEFITS:
Project will construct right turn lanes from
Livingston Avenue to James Road and replace traffic signals to accommodate
additional turn lanes and improve intersection safety. Street lighting will be
modified, and storm sewer capacity will be upgraded on Livingston Avenue.

Right-of-way acquisition: Spring 2019 – Spring 2020
Utility Relocation: Late 2019 – Summer 2020
Construction: Fall 2020 – Fall 2021, subject to funding approval by City
Council and weather conditions

Design: $444,000 ($400,000 in ODOT Safety Funds)
Right-of-way acquisition: $321,000 ($286,000 in ODOT Safety Funds)
Utility relocation: $100,000 ($90,000 in ODOT
Safety Funds)
Construction: $2.6 million ($2.0 million in ODOT Safety Funds, $195,000 in OPWC
Funds)
