What:
The
Citizens’ Commission on Elected Official Compensation is holding its fourth
meeting to study and recommend compensation levels for the mayor, members of
city council, city attorney and auditor.
The
Columbus City Charter mandates the Commission meet every four years. Its goal
is to be an additional layer of citizen engagement and accountability to the
process of setting future pay rates for elected officials in Columbus.
All
interested citizens are invited to offer public testimony. Comments are limited
to three minutes. Anyone wishing to address the Commission on this matter must
fill out a speaker slip between 8am-10am on the day of the hearing at
Columbus City Hall.
