Council Holds Consolidated Action Plan Public Hearing

What:
Councilmember Elizabeth Brown, chair of the Finance Committee, is hosting a public hearing on the budget for the Consolidated Action Plan. The budget is made up of four Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grants: the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).
“These federal grant dollars represent important investments in Columbus neighborhoods,” said Councilmember Brown. “This public hearing is an opportunity to hear directly from residents about how these dollars can make the greatest positive impact.”
All interested citizens are invited to offer public testimony. Anyone wishing to address City Council on this matter must fill out a speaker slip at City Hall before 4pm on the day of the hearing.
This meeting will be broadcast on Columbus' cable access channel CTV.
