City Hall Salutes Veterans as Columbus prepares to open National Veterans Memorial and Museum
[COLUMBUS,
OH] City Hall will bask in the colors of red, white and blue from Friday,
October 26, 2018 to Sunday, October 28, 2018, to honor veterans and signify the
dedication of the National Veterans Memorial.
"The
opening of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum is an exciting opportunity
to highlight the City of Columbus on a national stage," said Columbus City
Councilmember Mitchell J. Brown. "This moving tribute to the men and women
of our armed forces is a reminder of their contribution to our community and
our nation. In honor of this momentous occasion, City Hall will be lit in red,
white and blue."
On
Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 2-3:30pm, across the river from Columbus City
Hall, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum will host a dedication and
grand opening ceremony.
