Missing Persons Unit (Special Victims Bureau)
The Missing Persons Unit investigates, coordinates, and responds to reports of missing persons, runaway children, and interference with custody incidents. The Missing Persons Unit works conjunctively with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Ohio Attorney General’s Missing Children Clearinghouse (MCCH), and other law enforcement agencies to locate missing/runaway children and high risk missing adults.
