Safe Routes to School, Operation Safewalks - PID 110844
DESCRIPTION
AND BENEFITS:
A Safe Routes to Schools funded project will
build sidewalks on the west side of 17th Street between Markison Avenue and
Frebis Avenue, the west side of Ann Street between Frebis Avenue and Mithoff
Street and between the alley south of Stewart Avenue to Stewart Avenue, and the
east side of Ann Street between Stewart Avenue and E Whittier Street. Installation of sidewalk will include curb
ramps, drive approaches, curb with the required drainage improvements
associated with the curb installation.
Approximately 3500 LF of sidewalk will be constructed.
