City of Columbus Announces Panelists for ConnectUS Business Conference & Expo Opening Breakfast Roundtable
The City of Columbus announced the panelists for the
ConnectUS Business Conference & Expo Opening Breakfast Roundtable to
discuss how Columbus is leading the way as America’s equal opportunity city.
The panel will be hosted by Mayor Andrew J. Ginther as part of the day-long
event on October 2, 2019. Panelists include:
- Congresswoman Joyce Beatty
- Mark Cain, President and CEO of Smoot Construction
- Margaret Ference, Senior Vice President at Huntington National Ban
- Terri Forgy, Senior Vice President, Talent, Diversity &
Organizational Effectiveness, Nationwide
“This promises to be a dynamic conversation from business
leaders and advocates who are committed to the success of small businesses,”
said Mayor Ginther.
The Breakfast Roundtable will take place in the Short North
Ballroom at the Greater Columbus Convention Center from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m.
ConnectUS Business Conference & Expo includes a full day
of workshops and speakers that provide tips, resources and business
opportunities to start-ups, entrepreneurs and small business owners. The
conference offers an interactive platform for business owners and leaders,
procurement officers, supplier diversity professionals and industry influencers
to discuss best practices to build and grow their businesses.
