Francie Henry
Francie Henry serves as regional president of Fifth Third Bank (Central Ohio). She is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of the Bank’s Commercial, Wealth & Asset Management and Consumer businesses, while also delivering distinctive value to our customers and community throughout Central Ohio, Southeast Ohio, West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky, and Western Pennsylvania.
Francie has more than 30 years of banking experience and has spent her career at Fifth Third Bank, where she has held many positions including market president, managing director of Wealth & Asset management, retail executive, regional BankMart manager, and marketing coordinator.
Education
Francie earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Miami University.
Professional and Civic
Francie was recently elected to the Ohio Bankers League Board of Directors and was appointed by Governor DeWine to the Ohio Banking Commission. She is a member of the Columbus Partnership, and serves on boards of the Flying Horse Farms, Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges, and the Greater Columbus Sports Commission. She is on the Ohio State University STAR Advisory Committee and was involved in the development of the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts in New Albany, as its founding chair. In April, she served as 2019 Heart Ball Chair for the American Heart Association and was appointed in 2019 to serve on the United Way strategic advisory board. She is a member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and has the Jim and Francie Henry Family Fund at the Columbus Foundation to facilitate their family philanthropy.
Francie was named a 2003 Cincinnati Business Courier Forty under 40 award winner, was featured in the 2014-15 Columbus Area edition of the Women’s Book, and was a 2017 Women “WELDing the Way” calendar honoree. She received a 2018 Ohio Diversity Award for Leadership Excellence and was just named a 2019 Most Admired Executive from Columbus Business First.
Francie and her husband, Jim, live in New Albany and have two college-aged children, Charlie and Alexandra.
