Karim Ali
Karim Ali is a partner in the Corporate Department at Porter
Wright Morris & Arthur LLP, a full-service law firm headquartered in
Columbus and with offices in seven additional cities across the country. Karim
serves in many leadership positions at the firm including as Partner in Charge
of Professional Personnel and Partner in Charge of Diversity and Inclusion.
Karim is an experienced real estate and corporate transactional attorney
with extensive experience providing counsel to Fortune 500 companies in
connection with managing and developing real estate assets. Karim’s practice
focuses on the representation of international and regional retailers and real
estate developers.
Karim serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Law and
Leadership Institute, and is a member of the Director’s Circle for the Wexner
Center for the Arts. Karim previously served as a member of the Board of
Directors for Directions for Youth and Families.
Karim is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Columbus and has worked
tirelessly to address diversity and inclusion and inequality in the Columbus
legal community for over 15 years. Karim earned his J.D. from The Ohio State
University Michael E. Moritz College of Law, his M.B.A. from The Ohio State
University Fisher College of Business, and his B.A. from Talladega College.
