WHAT:
Councilmember Mitchell J. Brown will
be hosting a Public Safety Committee Hearing to discuss the troubling issue of
the rising number of firearms detected at the John Glenn International Airport.
The purpose of this hearing will be to discuss this growing local and national
trend, as well as possible remedies to assist law enforcement as they strive to
keep residents and visitors safe. Public testimony will be accepted at the
hearing. Any interested parties wishing to speak at the public hearing must
complete a speaker slip at City Hall on the day of the hearing prior to 5:00pm.

broadcast on Spectrum, Channel 1024; WOW, Channel 3 and AT&T
