Columbus City Council Cancels Upcoming Meetings in Response to COVID-19
[COLUMBUS, OH] Following the guidelines set by Governor DeWine
and Columbus Public Health, Columbus City Council canceled its upcoming Council
and Zoning meetings for March 23, 30, and April 6. The next regular meeting is
scheduled for April 20, 2020.
Council will continue its duties remotely and encourages
residents to reach out regarding issues in the community.
“Make no mistake; we are open for business. We will continue to
serve,” said Council President Shannon G. Hardin.
“Public health officials have clearly stated that gatherings accelerate the
spread of COVID-19. Our number one priority is the health and safety of this
city.”

Discuss the Decision to Cancel Meetings
Council will continue to follow guidelines provided by the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Governor Mike Dewine, Mayor
Ginther, local and state health officials.
