Department Operational Changes due to COVID-19
Due to the ongoing developments related to COVID-19 the Department of Public Service is making the following changes:
STREET SWEEPING:
Beginning July 6, the city will resume its annual
residential street sweeping program. The program was suspended during the
coronavirus stay-at-home order to ensure on-street parking availability for
residents.
Please note:
This includes resuming street sweeping in areas posted with no parking
restrictions during street sweeping dates and times. However, due to the
coronavirus pandemic, vehicles will not be ticketed or towed at this
time in posted areas if they are not moved off-street. Residents are still
encouraged to not park vehicles on the street during the posted prohibited
times for safety and effective sweeping.
The Department of Public Service will re-evaluate this
suspended enforcement at a later date.
PARKING SERVICES:
Hours of operation have changed. Our hours of operation are as follows:
- In Person: Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm
- By Phone: Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm
Please call 844-565-1295 to verify our hours before you visit.
On July 6, Parking Services resumed parking ticket hearing appeals and issuing
fine accumulations, notices and collections for unpaid tickets. To practice
safe social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Parking Services will
offer 2 options for hearings with a hearing officer to contest parking tickets:
- A phone
hearing
- A
web-based hearing using WebEx software

and allow residents to stay in their homes as much as possible for their health
and safety.

register or display) is suspended until further notice.
