due to set up a payment plan.

Can my penalty be
reduced or removed?
individuals, and businesses who pay the full tax and interest due may be
eligible for a one-time reduction of penalty on their tax liability. Abatements
can be requested on the Columbus Revenue Service Portal (CRISP) at
crisp.columbus.gov. Please note that interest on tax liabilities cannot be
reduced or removed. No penalty reductions can be considered until all required
tax returns are filed and all tax and interest are paid in full. If you are in
an active payment plan and have requested a penalty abatement, you may have it
conditionally granted during your payment plan.
