What:
Hosted by Council President Shannon G. Hardin, this virtual town hall is aimed at having a robust conversation about the gun violence happening in neighborhoods across Columbus. Speakers will include community leaders and family members impacted by violence, discussing topics of public safety, strong neighborhoods, raising up our CIty's youth, and the judiciary's work to keep our kids safe.
All interested citizens are invited to participate and email questions to [email protected] by noon on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. There are also limited opportunities to ask questions during the event through Facebook Live.
The town hall will also be streamed on the City of Columbus YouTube channel and available for viewing following the event.
