WHAT:
Councilmember Shayla Favor, chair of the Housing Committee, is hosting a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, October 27 at 5:00pm to address a proposed Housing for All legislative package that includes Source of Income, Renter’s Choice, and Rental Receipt.
City and community representatives will be on hand to answer questions and/or concerns. Public Testimony will be accepted. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes.
Any resident seeking to submit testimony in favor of or in opposition to an ordinance is strongly advised to submit their testimony to Councilmember Favor’s office. Written testimony must be received by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Testimony should be emailed to [email protected] with the subject line, “Testimony for 10/27 Housing Committee Hearing”.
Testimony can also be mailed to Councilmember Favor at 90 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio, 43215.
The hearing will be live-streamed on CTV, the City’s YouTube channel and Facebook.
