What:
Council President Pro Tem Elizabeth Brown, chair of the Finance Committee is hosting a virtual hearing to review the City of Columbus’s 2020 capital improvement budget.
City Departments will review their capital budgets with a focus on investments being made in neighborhoods throughout Columbus.
“This hearing is not only an opportunity for residents to learn about projects in their area, but also to share feedback on neighborhood priorities,” said Pro Tem Brown. “My goal is to continue utilizing community feedback to inform how we prioritize these vital investments to support every family and community in Columbus.”
Any resident seeking to submit written testimony should submit their testimony to Pro Tem Brown’s office. Written testimony must be received by 12:00PM on the day of the hearing and should be emailed to James Carmean at [email protected].
Any resident wishing to appear via WebEx to provide testimony during the virtual hearing should email James Carmean at [email protected] by 9:00AM on the day of the hearing to request a WebEx link. Each speaker will be limited to remarks lasting no longer than three minutes.
This hearing is available live stream on the CTV website and broadcast on Spectrum, Channel 1024; WOW, Channel 3 and AT&T U-verse, Channel 99. The video will also be posted on the City of Columbus YouTube channel following the event.
