Lead by Council President Pro Tem Elizabeth Brown, the City is hosting a Women and Families Financial Empowerment Webinar to share opportunities to improve the financial security of women and all Columbus residents. The webinar is free and open to the public. Join us to learn:

  • How the City and its partners can help improve financial outcomes for women and families
  • The barriers women and families face in achieving financial security
  • Why municipal investment in financial empowerment is important
  • What we know about the financial security of Columbus and Franklin County residents

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and economic slowdown, there is more urgency than ever to increase the resiliency of Columbus families, particularly the most vulnerable.

Earlier this year, the City of Columbus released its Financial Empowerment Roadmap. This guide details how the City can best provide financial security for Columbus residents, with a focus on women and families.
