Council Posts 2021 Operating Budget Public Hearing Schedule
Council President Pro Tem Elizabeth Brown, chair of the Finance Committee, is kicking-off the first in a series of committee-based public hearings to discuss the City of Columbus' 2021 operating budget.
"At the end of this tumultuous year, Council is eager to hear directly from residents as we review funding for vital city services next year," said Pro Tem Brown. “We aim to highlight how these dollars help support the success of every family in Columbus while we also gather feedback on how the city can continue to improve the services it provides. We are always looking for improvement, especially as we know so many families are facing hard times due to this pandemic."
These hearings will be available to live stream on City Council’s Facebook and YouTube pages, the CTV website and broadcast on Spectrum, Channel 1024; WOW, Channel 3 and AT&T U-verse, Channel 99. The videos will also be posted on the City of Columbus YouTube channel following the conclusion of each event.

Any resident seeking to submit written testimony should forward it to the designated Councilmember's office by Noon on the day of the hearing. Residents who want to provide testimony via WebEx during the virtual hearing must email the designated office by noon on the day of the hearing to request a WebEx speaker link. Each speaker's remarks are limited to three minutes or less.
