What:
Councilmember Emmanuel V. Remy will host a virtual roundtable discussion on the current challenges experienced by the immigrant and refugee communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Special guests include Tariq Tarey (producer of Council’s COVID-19 PSA videos), Ramona Reyes (Our Lady of Guadalupe Center), Zerqa Abid (MY Project USA), and more.
Residents who want to submit questions must email Lucy Frank at [email protected] with the subject line “COVID-19 Immigrant and Refugee Response Roundtable” by 9am on the day of the event.
In addition to Facebook and YouTube, this roundtable is available to live stream on the CTV website and broadcast on Spectrum, Channel 1024; WOW, Channel 3 and AT&T U-verse, Channel 99. The video will also be posted on the City of Columbus YouTube channel following the event.
