WHAT:

Councilmember Shayla Favor will discuss her sponsored ordinances 0494, 0495, and 0496-2021, which are in support of the Housing for All legislative package. The changes to the Columbus City Code will prohibit landlords from discriminating against tenants due to their source of income, provide tenants with alternatives to paying the security deposit, and require landlords to provide tenants with a rental receipt. The policies are intended to help encourage more affordable housing opportunities in the City of Columbus.
