Council President Hardin Reinforces Council’s Support for Doubling Down on Anti-Violence Efforts

“From my conversations with families impacted by gun violence, it is clear we need profound change to the way we ensure public safety in our community. Time and again, the key element is to lean into our neighborhoods and do more to prevent violence, especially among our youth. 

"Reimagining Public Safety in Columbus will take many partners wearing many hats, and we appreciate the progress made to engage community groups. We look forward to bringing the Mayor’s team and community leaders together on the next steps in this critical work.”
