What:

Councilmember Shayla Favor, chair of the Public Service and Transportation Committee, will hold a virtual public hearing to discuss the Little Turtle Way Roadway Improvements project.

A traffic study in the Little Turtle area was initiated in 2018, and the recent conclusion of that study resulted in a plan to improve traffic flow and mobility while reducing congestion in the area.

The hearing is an opportunity for residents to engage with the Department of Public Service and provide input on the final version of the project plan.

In accordance with public meeting access provisions, residents may attend the hearing in person at City Hall or virtually via Webex. For the time being, protocols of the social distancing guidelines will continue to be enforced within Council Chambers prohibiting overcrowding, and thus the capacity in Chambers will be reduced.

All parties wishing to speak during the hearing (in person or via WebEx) must contact Anisa Liban at [email protected] no later than NOON on the day of the hearing.

Written testimony must be received by 3PM on the day of the hearing and emailed to Anisa Liban at [email protected] with the subject line "Little Turtle Way Improvements Project” with a NAME and ADDRESS.

The hearing will be live-streamed on the City’s YouTube channel and Facebook.
