Dublin Road 30-Inch Water Line – Hayden Run Area

Hayden Falls This project will install a new water transmission main from the intersection of Shire Creek Court and Dublin Road to the Blazer Parkway elevated storage tank. The water line project area is located in the Hayden Run planning area (project area map(PDF, 394KB)).The goal of this project is to meet increasing water demands in the northwest part of the Division of Water’s (DOW)service area.

The project will include approximately 12,000 linear feet of new 30-inch diameter water line. Along with the installation of the new water main, the project will also include new fire hydrant installations. Construction is expected to begin in spring of 2022.

Prior to construction, the Neighborhood Liaison will be contacted and informed of the project. Further community outreach may result though the Neighborhood Liaison Program.  Notification letters will also be mailed out in advance to residents located near the project area. These letters will provide detailed information regarding the project and important contact numbers.

DOW plans to fund this project with a below market-rate loan through the Ohio EPA’s Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA) Program. Prior to granting this loan, the Ohio EPA required a detailed submittal from the DOW to determine the project’s eligibility for the program.
