Signals – Summit Street Phase 2

DESCRIPTION AND BENEFITS:

This project consists of the design of a replacement and upgrade to current standards of the existing traffic signals along Summit Street from Chittenden Avenue to Hudson Street, excluding the signal at 17th Avenue. This includes the intersections of Summit St. with Chittenden Ave., E. 12th Ave., E. 15th Ave., E. Lane Ave., and E. Hudson St.

ESTIMATED SCHEDULE:

Design: Fall 2021 – Early 2023
Right-of-way acquisition: Fall 2022 – Fall 2023

Utility Relocations: Fall 2022 – Fall 2023
Construction: Early 2024 – Early 2025, subject to funding approval by City Council and weather conditions

ESTIMATED COSTS:

Design: $600,000 
Right-of-way acquisition: $100,000

Utility relocation: $50,000
Construction: $3.0 million
