City of Columbus Names Interim Leader and Opens Search for Permanent Public Utilities Director
Mayor Andrew J. Ginther announced Deputy
Director Ann Aubry will serve as Interim Director of the Columbus Department of
Public Utilities pending the departure of current Director Tracie Davies. Davies
was named Delaware County Administrator in October. Her last day with the City
will be November 28.
Deputy Director Aubry has been
employed by the City of Columbus for over 25 years and has held the position of
Deputy Director since 2008. Aubry holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil
Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a licensed professional
engineer.
The City of Columbus is accepting
applications for a permanent director of the Columbus Department of Public
Utilities. A search committee consisting of members of the Mayor’s Office and
Human Resources will review applications and conduct interviews. The City hopes
to fill the position by the end of the year.
