Columbus Planning Classroom

What is City Planning?

City planners work with neighborhoods to make our city better.  Our work includes planning for neighborhood improvements such as sidewalks or parks, to review development to make sure it is high quality, and to engage communities to make sure they are involved in determining their future.  This classroom provides an introduction to the field of city planning and includes information on the benefits of planning and links to related resources.
