Historic Preservation and Design Review

According to the National Trust for Historic Preservation, historic preservation is the process of identifying, protecting, and enhancing buildings, places, and objects of historical and cultural significance. One of the primary ways that Columbus Planning supports preservation is through the staffing of five historic district architectural review commissions. This classroom provides an introduction to historic preservation and design review in the city of Columbus.
