SR 161 Phase 1 Part 1 - Maple Canyon Avenue

DESCRIPTION AND BENEFITS:
This is the first phase of improvements planned for SR 161 from
I-71 to Cleveland Ave corridor. This limits of this phase are along Maple
Canyon Ave North and South of SR 161. These improvements will include the
addition of pedestrian and bike facilities, new traffic signals, pavement
widening & resurfacing with raised medians with urban roundabouts on Maple
Canyon Ave.
ESTIMATED SCHEDULE:
Design: Spring 2019 – Summer 2021
Right-of-way acquisition: Late 2020 – Late 2021
Construction: Begins Spring 2022, subject to funding approval by
City Council and weather conditions

Design: $1.35 million
Right-of-way acquisition: $1.4 million
Construction: $9.5 million
