WHAT:
Last convened in 2018, the Citizens’ Commission on Elected Official Compensation reviews and recommends the salary for each elective officer of the city, increasing citizen engagement and accountability in the process of setting future pay rates for elected officials in Columbus. This process is mandated by the City Charter to occur every four years, and began in January 2022.
On Wednesday, the Commission will conduct it's final meeting in a virtual setting on WebEx. During this final meeting, Commissioners will to vote to approve the report to be submitted to the City Clerk for consideration by Council.
Residents wishing to attend this meeting will need to join virtually on WebEx or watch on Facebook or YouTube.
