City Council Awards $250,000 to Faith-Based and Community Organizations to Continue Work

On Monday, Council approved $250,000 funding for the Faith Based and Community Organizations grant initiative. Columbus City Council set aside funds for the purpose of supporting 14 small, grassroots organizations that serve their local community, including faith-based organizations. The goal of this grant program is to provide micro-grants to organizations that are serving their local community. Councilmember Nick Bankston will be available for questions, along side recipients of the grant to discuss how funds will be used. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to [email protected].
