The Amos Lynch Plaza is located adjacent to this park and is utilized by The King Arts Center who is leased by The Garfield School. This park is used heavily as a neighborhood park, and an area for community gatherings, activities and celebrations. A pavilion (gazebo) named The Otto Beatty Pavilion, is in honor of Otto Beatty Jr, a local State representative and community activist. The plaza was named after Amos Lynch, local resident active in community.
