WHAT:
Columbus City Councilmember Priscilla R. Tyson, chair of the Workforce Development Committee, will hold a hearing to highlight the various workforce development efforts supported by Columbus City Council. The hearing will include presentations from the Central Ohio Workforce Development Corporation and IMPACT Community Action. The hearing will provide the public with information on job opportunities and program eligibility and educational requirements. The meeting will be broadcast live on CTV, Columbus’ government television channel 3 on local cable systems. Speaker slips will be accepted on the day of hearing till 5:30 and the general rules of speaking before Council will apply.
