Columbus Rose Fellowship Columbus, under the leadership of Mayor Ginther, has been selected by the Rose Center for Public Leadership in Land Use to participate in the Daniel Rose Fellowship, a program of the National League of Cities (NLC) in partnership with the Urban Land Institute (ULI).  The program provides professional development opportunities to its fellows,who are appointed by each city's mayor. The program provides technical assistance on how to preserve and encourage mixed income neighborhoods.   - learn more

City of Columbus Incentives Studies – Draft Report The City of Columbus hired consulting firm HR&A to study the city’s use of tax incentives to support and encourage commercial, industrial and residential development.  The draft report was completed July 2017 and can be found here.

Columbus is awarded 'Smart City' grant We did it!  Columbus has been selected as the winner of the $40 million Smart Cities grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation! In addition, Vulcan Inc. has contributed another $10 million to incorporate electric vehicle infrastructure. - learn more
