WHAT:
Councilmember Shannon G. Hardin, chair of the Small and Minority
Business Development Committee, will hold a public hearing to discuss the
reauthorization and plan of services for the Discovery District Special Improvement
District (SID) and the creation and plan of services for the University Area
SID. SIDs allow property owners within
a set boundary to assess themselves the cost of providing a wide range of
services to promote and enhance within their area.
Speaker slips will be accepted on the
day of the hearing until 5:00 pm. The meeting will be broadcast live on CTV,
Columbus’ cable access channel on local cable systems.
