AIDS Walk Advisory
For Immediate Release
This weekend around the Buckeye State, thousands of people
will be taking part in AIDS Walk Ohio, to raise money and awareness for
HIV/AIDS service organizations through education and promotional activities.
Councilmember Shannon Hardin encourages Columbus area residents to support the
2015 Robert J. Fass Memorial AIDS Walk Central Ohio, by joining him and other
Councilmembers this Saturday, April 18, 9 a.m., at McFerson Commons in the Arena
District.
“AIDS Resource Center
Ohio and Columbus Public Health Department are two excellent resources for HIV/AIDS
services,” Councilmember Hardin said. “The Columbus
Public Health provides confidential testing and nationally recognized educational
campaigns to keep our community safe and healthy.”
Along with testing services, Columbus Public Health offers
numerous other resources dealing with HIV/AIDS awareness. A complete list of services can be found on
