Hoover Reservoir - Mud Hen Marsh

The Mud Hen Marsh at the Hoover Reservoir is located on Big Walnut Rd., just west of Sunbury Rd. This marsh is park of a network of small nature preserves located within the Hoover area. The area has become a great viewing area for regional bird species. Species known to be seen within this marsh are the Mud Hen, Northern Cardinal, Eastern Kingbird, Tree Swallow, House Finch and the Eastern Bluebird. There is a small parking lot, and fishing is prohibited within the marsh.
